Does grilling thinly shaved, fresh meats right at your own table sound great? If so, be sure to go to Woo Lae Oak. If you have visitors from out of town, this is a great restaurant to share a good meal and one which will `Wow!` them. It's best charm is definitely the grill-at-your-table option on the menu. A variety of meats in a varitey of marinates are available. Fresh vegetables come for grilling as well. The side dishes of Kim Chee (spicy hot pickled cabbage) and bean sprout salads are delicious. There are several dipping sauces including a terrific, slightly spicy peanut sauce. The accompanying salad and sauce portions are small, so don't hesitate to order more if you run out. Sometimes the service has seemed a bit `cool,` but the food and experience are worth any perceived slight. If you're not quite sure what to do with all the side dishes, unobtrusively * bad teak at other tables. For example, whole leaves of green leafy lettuce come as a side dish. I finally realized that the proper way to eat them was to spread some sauce first, next place any other veggies then add a bit of meat and roll the whole thing up `burrito style.` Yet, I don't prefer to eat it that way. I like the separate flavors to stand distictly on their own. I like to dip the lettuce by itself in the peanut sauce! So relax and just enjoy. (edited)
